TECH SUPPORT, TRAINING & ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY
MEET TECH GIRL

Hello!
Hi, I'm Zoe, the face behind Tech Girl Brisbane.
Technology has changed dramatically during my lifetime. I remember a world before the internet, and now I see how deeply technology is woven into almost every part of our daily lives. Like everyone else, I've had to learn and adapt as new devices, apps, and online services emerged. Because of that, I understand how overwhelming technology can sometimes feel—especially for those who didn't grow up with it.
What I love most about my work is seeing that sense of overwhelm turn into confidence. In 2026, technology is one of the main ways we stay connected to the people and things that matter most. Whether it's video calling family, receiving photos from grandchildren, managing everyday tasks online, or simply feeling more connected to the world, technology has the power to enrich our lives in meaningful ways.
Learning new technology isn't always easy, but it doesn't have to be stressful. My goal is to provide patient, friendly support that helps people feel comfortable, capable, and independent. There is nothing more rewarding than watching someone achieve something they never thought they could do, whether that's sending their first email, joining a family video call, or confidently using a new device.
Sometimes the smallest technological breakthrough can make the biggest difference.

I also specialise in assistive technology — supplying, professionally setting up and providing ongoing support for smart home, safety and accessibility devices that help seniors live more independently. In addition, I offer customised one-on-one or small group training tailored to your needs. Q: What is assistive technology for seniors?
A: Assistive technology for seniors refers to devices and smart solutions designed to make everyday life easier, safer and more independent. This can include smart home systems, voice-controlled devices, safety monitoring equipment, robot vacuums, hearing and vision support technology, and accessibility features on phones or computers. When set up correctly, assistive technology reduces physical strain, improves safety and helps you stay confidently connected in your own home.
Q: How much do your services cost?
A: Tech support and device training services start from $80 per hour, with pricing varying depending on the type of assistance required. For assistive technology supply and setup, I provide personalised quotes based on your specific needs, home environment and chosen devices. Q: Do you charge a travel fee?

Q: When and where are you available? Can I access your services after hours?
A: Tech Girl is available Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 2:00pm. After-hours appointments may also be available upon request. If you need assistance after hours, please call or message me at 0422712473 to discuss how I may be able to help.
Q: Will I have to pay if my problem is not resolved?
A: It is very rare that I cannot resolve your issue, unless due to faulty equipment. In such unique circumstances and provided you are within the Greater Brisbane area, you will only pay a $20.00 call-out fee. No additional charges will apply. If you are outside the Greater Brisbane area, additional travel charges may apply.
Q: Can you teach me how to solve the issue myself?
A: Absolutely! I encourage all my clients to watch and learn more about how their device works to empower them for the future. I also offer easy-to-follow, step-by-step visual aids on how to resolve your issue or get the most out of your device, which you can keep and refer to whenever needed. If that interests you, let me know before or during my visit.
